Dual Endorsement from Contractors

  • by: Colorado Pols

The Colorado Contractors Association, which usually backs Republican candidates for office, said today that it plans to issue a dual endorsement in the governor’s race – another in a string of business groups that are slowly moving towards Democrat Bill Ritter instead of Republican Bob Beauprez.

  1. Smacks of hedging your bets, IMO.  Have enough gumption to endorse one or the other.  The article states that many found Beauprez’s opposition to Ref C/D troublesome, but apparently not enough to stand against him.

“We feel we have gained some credibility by being open minded”, said John West, president of the association’s board and vice president of Connell Resources Inc. of Steamboat Springs.

    LOL

  2. It looks like the Colo. Contractors’ Assoc. is trying to have it both ways………….so to speak.  Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

  3. No one beat me to that one!  Ha!

It’s not what you think sicko’s.  I’m just saying they are swing voters. Keep your minds out of the gutter.
